AWholeLottaHair: Natural Hair Challenge 2014

When I lived in California I signed up for the Natural Hair Challenge 2014. The challenge is currently closed but here is where you can find more information. Honestly, I have been through alot in 2012 and I completely forgot that I signed up for the challenge until I received a newsletter that reminded me.

The purpose of the challenge is, "for Afro American Women who desire longer hair to challenge themselves to grow their own hair to a length that is satisfactory to them. After two and a half years, we want to eliminate the tendency to wear wigs, weaves and braid extensions. Our goal is to grow out our own hair “Naturally” without any chemical relaxers or perms."

I did the "bigchop" again in November 2011(that is the middle picture) so I really started the challenge from scratch. The first picture to the left is how much hair I cut off and the last picture to right is how much hair I have today.
